Application for Renewal of Professional Identification Card (PIC)

A service that enables professionals to renew one's professional licenses and confirms the validity thereof from the applicable regulatory body.

REQUIREMENTS FOR RENEWAL OF PIC

Before filing out the forms, please make sure you have the scanned copies (pdf or jpeg format) of the required documents with you, as you will be required to upload during the online fill-out process.

1.  PRC Philippine Identification Card (PIC)

2. Recent passport-size photo with white background

3. Unexpired Philippine Passport Bio Page - to prove that the Professional is still a Philippine citizen

4. Certificate of Registration (COR) or Lupon

5. Certificate of Rating

6. Continuing Professional Development (CPD) certificate/s - to show exemption from CPD seminars

7. Annual Renewal Fee, and/or surcharge fees (penalties for late renewal)


OFWs are exempted from CPD seminars, provided any of the following is presented:

  • Residence Permit, or
  • Work Visa, or
  • Existing/Valid Work Contract or Certificate of Employment (with English translation, if not in English language) with valid Overseas Employment Certificate (OEC) from Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA)


Former Filipino professionals who has re-acquired Philippine citizenship shall submit the following:

  • Certificate of Re-acquisition/Retention of Philippine Citizenship (CRPC) issued by the Bureau of Immigration
  • Copy of New Oath Form (Panunumpa ng Propersyonal)


For professionals with Dual Citizenship, the following shall be submitted:

  • Proof of Philippine citizenship (e.g., valid Philippine Passport)
  • Oath of Allegiance from the Philippine Consulate and Identification Certificate of Philippine Citizenship issued by the Bureau of Immigration
  • Certificate of Re-acquisition/Retention of Philippine Citizenship (CRPC) issued by the Bureau of Immigration

  1. AERONAUTICAL ENGINEER – CERTIFICATE OF GOOD STANDING ISSUED BY THE SOCIETY OF AEROSPACE ENGINEERS OF THE PHILS. INC. (SAEP).
  2. AGRICULTURIST - CERTIFICATE OF GOOD STANDING ISSUED BY THE PHILIPPINE ASSOCIATION OF AGRICULTURISTS (PAA)
  3. AGRICULTURAL AND BIOSYSTEMS ENGINEER – CERTIFICATE OF GOOD STANDING ISSUED BY PSABE
  4. ARCHITECTS - CERTIFICATE OF GOOD STANDING ISSUED BY THE UAP (JUNE CYCLE)
  5. CUSTOMS BROKER – CERTIFICATE OF GOOD STANDING ISSUED BY THE CCBI
  6. ENVIRONMENTAL PLANNER - CERTIFICATE OF GOOD STANDING ISSUED BY PHILIPPINE INSTITUTE OF ENVIRONMENTAL PLANNERS. - mailto:piepnl2021@gmail.com
  7. GEODETIC ENGINEER - CERTIFICATE OF GOOD STANDING ISSUED BY THE GEP 
  8. GUIDANCE COUNSELOR –CERTIFICATE OF GOOD STANDING AND UPDATED MEMBERSHIP ISSUED BY THE PGCA (MAY CYCLE)
  9. INTERIOR DESIGNER – CERTIFICATE OF GOOD STANDING ISSUED BY PHILIPPINE INSTITUTE OF INTERIOR DESIGN (PIID). 
  10. LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT – CERTIFICATE OF GOOD STANDING ISSUED BY THE PHILIPPINE ASSOCIATION OF LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTS (PALA). 
  11. LIBRARIAN - CERTIFICATE OF GOOD STANDING ISSUED BY THE PHILIPPINE LIBRARIANS ASSOCIATION, INC. (PLAI)
  12. PSYCHOLOGIST/PSYCHOMETRICIAN – CERTIFICATE OF GOOD STANDING ISSUED BY THE PSYCHOLOGICAL ASSOCIATION OF THE PHILIPPINES (PAP). 
  13. PROFESSIONAL ELECTRICAL ENGINEER/REGISTERED ELECTRICAL ENGINEER/REGISTERED MASTER ELECTRICIAN - CERTIFICATE OF GOOD STANDING ISSUED BY THE IIEE.
  14. PROFESSION ELECTRONICS ENGINEER/ELECTRONICS ENGINEER/ELECTRONICS TECHNICIAN - CERTIFICATE OF GOOD STANDING ISSUED BY IECEP
  15. RESPIRATORY THERAPIST – CERTIFICATE OF GOOD STANDING ISSUED BY THE ASSOCIATION OF RESPIRATORY CARE PRACTITIONERS, PHILIPPINES (ARCPP). 
  16. REAL ESTATE PRACTITIONERS - 
  • Notarized Certificate/s of Attendance to Accredited (15 CPD Units) program/s administered by accredited provider/s; For Salesperson, 10 CPE Units and photocopy of Real Estate Broker’s PIC
  • For private practitioners: Indemnity Insurance/Cash or Surety Bond of Twenty Thousand Pesos (P20,000.00). 
  • For permanent government employee with position/item related to profession: CERTIFICATE OF EMPLOYMENT AND NOTARIZED SERVICE RECORD.
